2017 sees the return of Ireland’s biggest foodservice event, Catex, with a new look layout and a host of new exhibitors who are looking forward to availing of the opportunities that the show serves up.

Attended by over 10,000 foodservice and hospitality industry professionals, the flagship event will again be staged at the RDS Simmonscourt, Dublin 4, from 21st to 23rd February.

Catex celebrates Ireland’s foodservice industry, and in an increasingly competitive market, new companies have joined the bill, and will sit alongside the competitions and feature areas including the Contract Caterers’ Culinary Challenge and the Chef’s Choice Pavilion.

Home to over 200 exhibitors across the three day event, new names include Ali Group, Friulinox, Lainox, Plassey Tierney’s and Valeo Professional, and more.

New exhibitors will sit alongside long-term supporters of Catex, including Bunzl, Bewleys, BD Foods, Calor Gas, Embassy of Poland, Henderson’s, Hugh Jordan, Lyreco/Nespresso, Marco Beverage Systems, Nisbets, and the Catering Innovation Agency (CIA) and more.

The show will continue to partner with industry associations including the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (Irish chapter); Euro-Toques Ireland; Restaurants Association of Ireland; the Panel of Chefs, CMAI; Irish Hospitality Institute; Bartenders Association of Ireland; Licensed Vintners Association and the Vintners Federation of Ireland.

Commenting on securing it’s biggest-ever stand at CATEX, Andrew Lynas, Managing Director of Lynas Foodservice says: “Catex has been instrumental in helping Lynas Foodservice to grow its customer base across Ireland. Since our first show in 2009, we’ve increased our stand space year on year, as we can clearly see the return on our investment, both at the show and in the months following Catex.”
